In the Measures space, when looking for uncovered code, it's difficult to visually spot the uncovered parts in the leak. We use colored labels in the margin but they don't put emphasis on the critical problem: new uncovered lines.
Lines of code that are both labeled in blue (new lines) and yellow or red (uncovered) must really stand out and be immediately recognizable as you scroll.
Design proposition: using a yellow background for lines of new code. Lines both new and uncovered will have a darker yellow shade to make them more noticeable. We get rid of the blue bar in the margin that was misleading and adding noise.
This background color pattern should be displayed whenever there is a code viewer in the app. We currently only display the blue bar in Measures pages that are related to New Code. We should be able to see it anytime there's new code, whether you're browsing code from the Issues page, Code tab, or any Measures page.
