The requirements to install SQ with a MSSQL database are clear:
Collation must be case-sensitive (CS) and accent-sensitive (AS)
Too often, users miss that information and end up with a MSSQL DB that is not configured correctly which will have impacts on SQ features. To prevent this:
- all new VARCHAR columns must be created with the collation Latin1_General_CS_AS. Default collation of database is not used.
- collation of all VARCHAR columns must be changed to Latin1_General_CS_AS. This migration is executed only during upgrades from versions less than 5.2
- no verification at server startup on other tables.
