      Description

      As the search server is now started in a dedicated process (see SONAR-4898), we can now plan to provide the ability to start several search engines to make it possible to inject a lot of data in this search engine.

      Starting a slave should be as simple as :

      • Unzipping the SonarQube distribution in a new machine
      • Starting SonarQube with a new parameter:
        sonar.cluster.master=${master_ip}:${master_port}

      The parameter can be set through the command line or through the sonar.properties configuration file

      I guess would also be great to check the version of SonarQube to not start a slave when the slave and the master don't have the same version.
