Issues with Portfolio Permissions

      Description

      A global admin can be locked out of administering (or even seeing a portfolio), even at the global level. Making a portfolio private & turning off browse & administer makes the portfolio completely disappear. 

      Additionally, even without admin permissions, if you can somehow get to the permissions admin page (or still have it open from when you locked yourself out), you can still turn your permissions (back) on.

       

      The above result in issues when trying to administrate portfolios and their settings smoothly.
