In the newly released 8.9 LTS version, there were some to changes to how we convert the text to the ratings seen in the email notification sent to users.
These changes are failing the analysis background tasks under certain circumstances:
- Quality Gate notifications are turned on (SMTP is configured and someone has subscribed to Quality Gate changes at the global or project-level)
- The Quality Gate has an integer condition of 0 or greater than 5 (No New Issues or No Blocker, Critical, Major issues…)
- The Quality Gate changes from passed to failed
The background task fails to process and data (issues, measures, QG status) is not persisted.
