      Description

We look for the target branch in local branches and in 2 specific remotes: origin and upstream.

In some cases there might be multiple branches from different remotes with the same name. This can happen, for example, when analyzing the same branch from different forks. Also the user might use an entirely different name for the remote.

We should be able to specify the remote name using the common git's syntax: remote/branch

Instead of looking for the reference in specific hardcoded remotes, we can also look in refs/remotes to find any branch using that new alternative syntax with the remote name.
