As an executive, I don't care too much about the day to day activity in term of code quality. My main concern is to have the big picture on my portfolios of projects in a very synthetic way with help of the SonarQube Quality Model.
When the Governance product is installed, I expect to see a "Portfolios" link on the top banner of SonarQube. Similar to the Projects page, it should offer a list of Portfolios. However, it will not offer filtering or sorting options other than the ability to search by name.
It is already the case that I can favorite as many portfolios as I want. My favorites will be collected in My Portfolios for easy access and overview.
An 'All' Portfolios view should give me the ability to discover portfolios so that I can favorite them (or not). I simply need a way to know what portfolios exist, i.e. a list.
As a user, how a portfolio hierarchy was created should be transparent to me. Thus, local views and sub-views (and root nodes) should be
- returned by search/filtering
without any distinction among them.
The following should be shown for each portfolio:
- Favorite star
- The four ratings
- Main rating value
- Last time the rating evolved
- Total number of Lines of Code
I should have the ability to search by name.
