As a SonarQube administrator, I want to know which are the plugins that are supported by SonarSource so that I can confidently install and use them.
Currently, the update center shows developer information (retrieved from pom files). This info is misleading as it can be set to "SonarSource" even is the plugin is managed by the community. This is the case for several plugins that have been initiated by SonarSource.
- Update center should clearly indicate and highlight when a plugin is supported by SonarSource.
This info is already present in the update center properties and is displayed in SonarSource plugin matrix. But the info is not yet provided by the WS. It requires the update center to be improved, probably both on SonarQube and on SonarSource server.
- Clean up developer info in the update center, removing the reference to SonarSource for each plugin which is not supported by SonarSource.
In order to keep the update center up-to-date, SonarSource can just be removed from the list of developers. When it makes the developer info empty, nothing should be displayed.
